Following your heart, carving your own path, and redefining success can be HARD.  But for those that listen to the call, the rewards are endless.

Michelle Williams shares her story of discovering her purpose early on in life and the winding road she followed through nursing school, to eventually trust the call of her heart, leave the medical system behind, and create her own heart centred business as a traditional birthkeeper.

Michelle shares more on:

– connecting to your true desire and purpose outside of cultural and societal pressures and conditioning
– what’s missing from the medicalized treatment of birthing women in hospital
– using your voice to connect to your womb (listen to the end for a beautiful vocal practice to try for yourself, especially if you’re pregnant or calling in your future babies)
and so much more…

Michelle is a Traditional Birthkeeper and Educator at ISLA MAMA, a space devoted to inviting women into deeper reverence and trust in themselves. Michelle is in service to the continuum of life – moving in flow between birth, death, and all that is present in between. Transitioning from clinical Nursing, she is now serving women in her community on Vancouver Island. Attending births, providing family support, and offering womb and birth education.
