A radical journey that helps you evolve from maiden to mother. You’d never expect a butterfly to crawl back inside its chrysalis… so why should you? So instead of bouncing back, consider this:
What if you’re supposed to lose yourself in motherhood? What if you’re supposed to unravel, surrender to your felt experiences, and step deeper into embodiment? What if it's not just about preparing for the birth of your baby, but creating space for your rebirth too?
There’s a whole lot of talk about asking for help when you need it and taking care of yourself. But I was left wondering, who can I ask? And how do I care for myself in the ways that actually help?
Being the “I’m going all in on this” research nerd that I am, I was determined to figure out why I felt like crap and what I could do about it. I felt like I tried everything: supplements, thyroid meds, more protein, breathwork, somatics…but I still felt angry, on edge, and dysregulated.
It was then that I realized there was no magic pill, no single practice I could find to make it all better. Because it’s not just about nutrition, or just about the nervous system, or just about hormones. It’s about all of it, together, within the dynamic environment of your life as a mother.
What it comes down to is that motherhood is an interconnected ecosystem of unique needs that requires a holistic and compassionate approach to wellness. And once I saw it this way, I was able to combine what I’d learned and finally begin to thrive as the woman and mother I longed to be.
I’ve gained perspective, compassion and a deeper understanding of the human spirit from my time as a hospice nurse, holding the hand of someone in their last days as they voice their greatest regrets and deepest wisdom about life.
I’ve unlearned so much from the “conventional” model of health by diving deep into natural health and true wellness through holistic nutrition. Discovering the way our bodies truly work, like the integrated, energetic ecosystems that they are. I've taken it a step deeper too, studying the unique nutritional needs of the postpartum body to promote healing, hormone balance, and vitality.
I’ve deepened my understanding of the unique needs of women through the entire childbearing continuum, understanding the primal hormonal and physiological blueprint inherent in every woman and baby that deserves protection and reverence to unfold as it should.
I’ve discovered the power of attuning to our natural cycles as women instead of fighting against them. Learning to harness the power and wisdom each cycle and season brings us, connecting to the natural rhythms of nature, both externally in our environment and internally in our own bodies.
I’ve explored the many layers of nervous system regulation, trauma, emotional wellbeing, coaching, and somatics to satisfy my desire to support women on a much deeper level, exploring the depths of our patterns and behaviours, and the wisdom our bodies hold.
I’ve alchemized these experiences (and so many more) into the unique coaching and support I now offer. A beautiful mix of skills, knowledge, and embodied wisdom from the perfect winding road that led me here, with you.
Together, we can pull the many threads that make up this intense time of transition and evolution, and take a truly holistic approach to supporting the WOMAN you are, and the MOTHER you’re becoming.
I’ve studied the unique experience of becoming a mother–matrescence–and explored the countless ways in which this adjustment period presents itself: grief, confusion, changing values, shifting priorities, loss of identity. This knowledge allows me to support you in a unique way and recognizes both the universality and the individual nature of your experience.
With many “false starts”, pit stops, and redirections. My work with mothers is a divine culmination of following the breadcrumbs of my curiosity along the way. It’s a blend of knowledge and wisdom from my vast experiences in nursing, holistic nutrition, birthwork, women’s health, energetics, and somatic healing.
“Working with Lauren was so lovely. She made me feel at ease. I definitely had some aha moments and I feel like I unpacked things I didn't even realize were weighing so heavily. I left sessions feeling lighter and more grounded each time. I continue to use tools she offered in our sessions during my daily life, and the conversations that came up from listening to my body have shifted my perspective on a number of things including starting a mindset shift on my mothering.”

Whether we’re meeting in person or online, my biggest priority is to create a space where you feel safe to show up as your authentic, messy, perfectly imperfect, work-in-progress self. Those parts of you will never be judged. I’ll meet them with curiosity and compassion and help you do the same. Always.
I bring playful creativity to my work, because this “striving to be the best mom I can be while healing all of my inner child/dysregulated nervous system sh!t and mothering within a culture that seriously devalues mothers” gig can feel super super serious sometimes. And we can all use a little more play and pleasure as we strive to feel, learn, grow, and evolve.
